I really wasn't much of a dancer at all before college. Now I love to tap, I enjoy Jazz Dance as well, though am not the most gifted. I have become interested in ballroom, though don't have the time for it being a Theatre Major and have rehearsals the same time as the Ballroom class.
I dont dance anymore but i used to take jazz, ballet, tap, and lyrical. I enjoyed it so much that i think im going to take it again this year when school starts but the only thing i hate doing are reciatls i just want to learn new dance moves.
I took dance lessons for 20 years. I was a competitive dancer for most of that time and traveled the country taking master classes from some of the most famous choreographers today. Things I studied regularly were: Ballet Cecchetti Lyrical Jazz Tap Hip-Hop Musical Theatre Pointe and regular technique classes for stretching, turns, jumps, etc. I also took some classes in the next few subjects but didn't do them often: African Modern Hawaiian Tahittian Gymnastics For 5 of those years I taught and choreographed and my students won top awards as well as my choreography. Now I don't do a thing and I miss dancing so much.
Used to do Bollywood but stopped. Not that good anyway. My mate however is a great hip hop dancer... Hula dancing does sound like fun...
i do a lot of choreography, mostly musical theatre and modern. i've been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, swing, african, musical theatre, and some light latin/ballroom.
