This may be an odd question but is it possible to catch anything, specifically herpes from administering a hand job? If you clean your hands thoroghly before and after would there be any chance of transmission of something unwanted from the penis to the hand?

Even if something were transferred I don't know how long it could stay alive, as long as you didn't get any semen in your mouth or in a cut or anything I think you're good

Even so, pretty much everybody has the herpes virus in their body already so it wouldn't matter if you got it in a cut..

No. Herpes is a very fragile virus in that way. It cannot live long away from the human body. It cannot be transmitted from toilet seats etc. Soap and water, and your thorough cleaning will take care of it. Nevertheless be careful not to touch your mouth, nose, eyes after playing as the virus can spread there too.

Loveflower, there are different strains of herpes. I would be a little more careful than 'everyone has herpes anyway'. I don't.
