Hello! Personally I don’t like to brag - but when it comes to my dog - I could brag about him all day. So I thought it might be interesting to hear people do a little bragging about their pets. (I’ll start because my dog is so cool) I could leave my entire Christmas feast on the kitchen table – go to bed for the night and my dog Sundance would not touch any of it during the night. I could also take the Christmas feast – place it in the middle of my kitchen floor and say to Sundance – “ that’s mine” and go to bed knowing he won’t touch it. And no body is going to sneak in during the night and touch it because Sundance is on guard. Cheers!
First, I'll start with my dog... he has a wonderful singing voice (howling, that is) whenever he hears sirens. Ok, now for my cat... MY cat plays fetch. Does yours? (smile)
My kitty rode my brother's skateboard across the driveway on her own free will, once. And she's amazingly healthy- 12 years old, and when we brought her to the vet for a checkup he could not believe her age because of how healthy her fur is, her body, her personality (we feed her regular cheap cat food, she's an ex-farm cat who is now a city indoor/outdoor cat, and before this the only time she was at the vet was for her baby shots). She sits with me when I'm sick, when I had a panic attack one night (very rare for me) she started meowing frantically and circling me and stayed until I was okay again. I love my baby <3
Hello! I thought I would do a little more bragging about my dog Sundance. When he was 9 months old I trained him to keep other dogs out of the yard because I had free-range chickens. He did keep the dogs out but I lost my chickens to eagles. Anyway he still figures it’s his duty to keep dogs out of the yard. There are 2 great big Irish wolfhounds that try to take a short cut through our yard ever now and then but because they know how tuff Sundance is they always wind up turning around. (each of those dogs weigh 40 – 50 pounds more then Sundance. Sundance is now teaching our new pup how to fight and I can see that Puppy is going to be pretty tuff because he is learning from the best. Cheers!
Oh God it just makes me cry to think of the loyalty Rainbow gives me. I sure hope I can match her in respect. Our life is magical, and I know she would kill for me (not on command). Love those pets folks, they love you in return.
I will start with Bitty she is the best dog in the world in my eyes. She is truely my best friend she knows when something is not ok with me and will not leave me If I cry she will sit or stand on her hind legs and push the top of her head to my chest and then look at me like mommy what is wrong. Then there is Bella she is a great pup to but wild as they come she is my comic relief. We also hase the 4 cats if I am sick they are like my private emotional care givers (mom is sick one of us must stay with her at all times no wait maybe two of us) generally all 4 stay right with me. Then there is Relic our bird. He is the ultamit esteem booster. I go when I going to fix myself up to go out he will whistle and say hi Baby, pretty baby until I and done getting ready. He always says hi babe when I get home and follows up with I love you mom ma. of course if I do not answer or do what he wants me to I am a little asshole ah you win some you lose some. Then there is BunBun the rabbit he is my personal alarm clock every morning at 0400 he finds was to make noise in his cage until I am up and making coffee. Animals are so great!
Ok now I've only got two pets (one cat died recently) but I'll have a go bragging about them. =3 Jessie is a black cat, bit more than a year older than me. Her and me are inseperable. She may be old but she keeps up the effort following me around the house and us keeping each other company. If I'm unhappy she'll have a natural reaction to cheer me up, and of course when she's high on catnip she's very fun to play with. x3 Ciara's my syrian hamster, about 6 months old now. She's quite new compaired to Jessie but has learnt who's 'the girl who brings the food' and respects me as that. She's never bitten me even though she's very very hyper (hamsters bite, expecially when you've had food on your hands) and it's always up at 6am to run on her wheel and wake me up for school.
My cat Jezabelle is 7 months old. She think she's human. She gets into my twins' booster seats and sits there when I'm cooking and it's time to eat, she turns lights on, and she even opens doors. How she does it, I don't know, but doors that are shut tight end up being opened by her. And I swear to you, I've gotten her to start saying "maaa-maaa". My husband says it's wishful thinking, but I really think she's trying to mimic me. I say "ma ma" to her all of the time, and every morning as soon as I get up, she runs up to me all excited like saying "maaa-maaa!" It's so adorable. Ahem. :&
My cats have allowed me to live, and let me serve them with food and catnip! lol I also have a cat named Jezebelle, and her sisters Juju, Ms.Kitka, and Pedro. Yes, Pedro is a girl, but likes her name just fine hehe. They keep me in line.
between my cats Jim, Basil, Salome and Nefer i've always got my hands full! they are older kitties and a close knit family - they're always there to share the love and they all fight over who gets the most attention from Mama .....i wouldn't trade them for the world and yes, my kitty Jim plays fetch, too! he is such a great tuxedo cat
I have a black tri Australian Shepheard. She was the runt of her litter and she came out funny with really short hari like a smooth collie. She has a little extra fur tail on the end of her nub. Sometimes she sleeps under my bed. Her name is Mudgee. She gets the paper in the morning and keeps squirrels out of the avacado tree. She loves to be chased at the dog park by other dogs.
My Vieled Chameleon George is the cutest little thing around, they are known for being very agressive but George jumps at the oppertunity to cuddle with me he uses my dreads as vines!
Hippychickmommy my cat Leo sounds like him is dragging out the word mmooooooomm when we get up in the morning as he looks at me with those sleepy eyes he is so cute. however he was no so cute when he dummped a glass of ice water off on my back while was asleep at 0430 this morning talk about a rude awakening.
I have had cocketiels my entire life, but have never met a single one even remotely like Uber. He is all personality (hence the name) and whistles like a champ. Best of all, he makes this really cool cooing noise with the people he likes, something I've never heard out of another member of his speicies.
Well i have 2 cats.. The eldest cat is named Lil_BoPeep Yes Lil_BoPeep. Shes my Grand Champion show cat. I got her from a breeder many years back. shes retired. She is 11 this yr. But you name she can do it. Shes very good at back talking me. If i ask her specifically "mama is talking to you, do you want your soft food, say your manners" she'll look away put her butt up in the air and huff and puff and cough like "excuse me". Than there are times when she'll come under my feet for attention me not honestly knowing and me doing homework and i'm not paying any attention she'll meow really loud and she'll cough and stick her butt up and look away and as soon as i look at her she'll pretend she didn't see me . lol Than theres times she does all her tricks where i'm really busy and i have to concentrate, and she knows it. At about 7:00 am in the morning she'll throw her bowl with her head like "ma i want food" Boy shes one heck of a cat. BTW Lil_BoPeep is a tonkenese Then theres Seanna shes 2. Shes american shorthair... shes very demanding high maintenance and very loving . when Peepers does her tricks in the livingroom seanna tries to body slam her its quite the scene. But they know the rules and when we go out when we come back we usually tell them we are leaving and we get a good bye and hello.
