I'm curious as what this has to do with mental health. to answer your question i dont use them, if im not feeling regular enough i just make sure get more fibre in my diet (i've found alot of tasty cereal contains good fibre)
god this is so embarassing but I abused them in high school and then went to the doctor with the shakes and she determined it was because of potassium deficiency...I was so busted. It was pretty gross though I can't believe I used to do that. I had a long time where I would go over a week without going because I fucked up my body so much. Now that it's healed I know no matter how much weight I ever gain I will not resort back to that.
I put this in mental health because I'm not as interesting if someone uses them, but instead if they use them in a way that could be considered unhealthful; like abuse. Bella, did you have an eating disorder of some sort?
yeah I did throughout middle and high school and had a few relapses in adulthood when I was unhappy. I am fine now though.
