Two Fridays ago, I dropped some material off with my new tattoo artist, so he could draw up my fairly large tattoo I am getting. He told me he would give me a call the Tuesday or Wednesday following...and he hasn't yet.

So I'm just wondering if I should give him a call about it or wait until he calls me...I've never had to wait this long to get a tattoo, but all of my pieces are relatively small, too. I've also never worked with this particular artist, either.

    what do you think?

Well it really depends hwo busy he/the shop is, but if he told you he'd call and it's been a few days past that point, I'd call just to make sure he hasn't forgotten! Just be polite and everything, and just say you were calling to check how the piece is coming along.

Good luck with your tattoo! :)

Give him a call, its no pbig deal. In my personal experience with several excellent tattooist, they seem to be better artists than businessmen/organizers. I think it comes with the territory of being such a creative genius sometimes means you have trouble with the day to day details. I'm not saying that all creative people/tattooists are flaky, just something I've noticed.

But, yeah, its no biggy, just call him.
