I was in walmart the other day, with my family, getting some basic stuff. I usually never have enough extra cash to buy anything not on the "list", but I just got done getting paid for a side gig I just did. So I figured I would get Skye A new toy. I always feel so bad that he sees all this neat stuff, and I can't ever get anything for him. So we are walking down the isle and I stop to show him some tonka trucks, and he looks for a sec, the runs up ahead and grabs this little dog thing. You pet it and it wags it's tail and barks. I figure it's his toy to pick out so I get it for him. We get it home, I remove it from the package (with great difficulty), install the batteries, turn it on, and give it to my son. He picks it up and pets it, it wags it's tail, barks and...... scares my son. I'm sure he will start to like it, I turned it off so it won't do it's thing and it's where he can play with it if he chooses. He used to get freaked out by his sumo wrestler, but now he likes it a lot.

1 year and two months. It's funny though, all the things that you figure a child of his age would have a fear of, he giggles at. Loud noises are welcome, he likes to hide in dark places........
Instead of buying those child latch thingies for the cupboard doors in our kitchen, we just don't put anything in those cupbaords, except a couple gallons of water, and Skye is welcome to play in them all he wants. He likes to climb inside and shut the door, and will stay in there, perfectly quiet, until someone says, "where's Skye at", and then he will fling the door open and start giggling. The other day I gave him my little flashlight and turned it on for him, he climbed into the cupboard and stayed for a while, he was having so much fun!

My brother used to have a toy like that, it wasnt fluffy though, think he liked it for a while then um no idea what happened to it. We have a real pup now and he's so much cooler. :)

He plays with the real dogs at home all the time, throws the ball for bongo, cuddles with Satin. He really likes the cat Neko. They are good friends, that cat puts up with a lot out of him. He climbs on top of her, and wrestles with her, and chases her around the house making meow noises. She wrestles and fights back, but has never once scratched or bit him.

we do that too! I like to put the long thin pans in the bottom as well and a little cup of wooden spoons. Sometimes I switch it up, like I'll leave a pot or something plastic that has stuff to shake in it. She'll wake up from a nap happy. Riley loves music so shes always flinging open the cabinets to see what kind of instruments she can make.
