if you get your eye poked with something is it possible to "pop" a blood vessel? if so, how does it go away?

It takes a while but it goes away on it's own. My bf had it happen and it took about 6 weeks to heal all the way.

Of course it's possible. Like any blood vessels, enough pressure will cause the veins to burst and lose blood.

The eyes divided into two segments, anterior and posterior segments. The front segments include the Iris, the cornea, the body, and the lens,

The posterior are the Retina and optic nerves. A busted eye can be serious, but is usually just requires a few weeks of healing.

Some times it won't go away. Scar tissue is difficult to give a time frame for recovery or whether it'll recover at all.

That can happen. It's a very sensitive organ.

Nothing to feel self conscious about though. You're a georgeous woman.
