In support of Newer vegetarians....let's offer some advice:)

    Becoming vegetarian is a true journey; don't let the fact that it's different from what others do change your feelings about a purer lifestyle. When you're invited somewhere, respectfully let the person know that you don't consume meat. Then offer to bring something. If you let others know that you don't judge them for what they eat, they mostly will not judge you.

    there are a LOT of good recipes out there so make friends with other vegos even if you're not totally there yourself and you will be able to pick their brains for the stuff that not only keeps them kicking along but also keeps their tastebuds interested!

    there is a whole so you want to e vegetarian sub forum, right here for that.
    I'd say that on the whole, more good than bad is generated here, and this is a safe place for those of us torqued about something topost, even if what we are torqued at IS a post.
