Hey, if the kid wants to take some codeine, don't rip on him. It's so mild, unless he really does a lot of it, or over a long period of time, there should be no problem. Aside from some intense constipation. All the Opium parties I attended way back when always ended up with people staring at each other, falling asleep, or, worst of all, puking. (Which, of course, NO ONE wants to clean up.) Op is plenty stronger than codeine. The main thing to worry about, kid, is the APAP or paracet, (Tylenol) which, if you take more than a gram or more a day is really bad for your liver. Add some alcohol to it, and it takes much less to trash your liver, so although weed should be used carefully with codeine (and watch for allergies as some people get some terrible itching from it, and worse) stay away from alcohol while using either APAP containing meds and opiate containing meds. As for availablity, most US states you cannot get this without a prescrip. If you know a good private pharmacy, you can buy plain codeine syrup, with nothing but a mild drug to loosen mucous, but you can't buy more than 4 oz at a time, and you need to be an adult to buy it, and sign for it ect. IMO, the only good use for codiene is mild pain, which doesn't respond to OTC meds and coughs, for which cod is very good. It's actually a not very nice buzz, for most people. And many don't get a buzz at all, unless you consider a fuzzy head, bumping into things and constipation a buzz. In Canada and the UK, you can buy small strength codeine OTC for pain. No such luck in the USA. Good luck though.

Im sure that codeine is a REAL drug ( with possibilitites of addiction and extreme constipation lol) and depending on what test you have being its an opiate it should show up. personally i like it just to sit about on. nothing particularly special just sorta feel good. and anyone in the uk try your best to follow the CWE techniques dont just eat like 24 nurofen plus pills lol. your belly will feel like shit the next day lol. x

Codeine is most definately a real drug. It is a narcotic analgesic and shares many many similarities with the other narcs. Approximately 10% of codeine is converted to morphine in your brain so you *will* test positive for opiates. As for enjoyability, I find codeine to be very nice. (albeit not as nice as say percocet ) I use it probably 2-3 times a week. Mellows me out and makes me perfectly content with everything around me. I use the CWE with pills containing 8mg, 15mg, 325mg of codeine, caffiene, and aspirin respectively. (Aspirin is about a million times better than acet. for CWE. It's less soluble in water, filters waaay better/faster, and I find it tastes better) Just don't do too much more than 250mg codeine as I find that after that point nasty effects like intense nausea start to show up and it doesnt increase the good effects at all. If anything it lessens them. Peace.
