yay or nay?? i dont know how many of yall have smoked a transparent joint, but theyre getting rather popular around my area. a lot of people like them cuz theyre neat-looking & burn slower. but to me it feels (and kind of smells) like im smoking plastic. which i think i am, even though the dude at the smokeshop told me they are in fact made out of some sort of paper.
If you mean transparent papers like aleda then it isnt paper, it is made from the cellulose from plants. I like them but they are a bit harder for me to roll (b/c of the lack of glue) and they usually have a side burn. Unless you really like them, i recommend buying cheaper papers (i like OCB).

If i could get a hold of some papers like that balloonatic, I would definatly smoke more joints. For some reason those look very appealing.
Wierd. I've never seen those before, or even heard of; but I think it would be too weird smokin' one of those. lol

I love the taste of em, havnt gotten around to buying more tho because of the price. Its great tho cuz the first time I tried em a joint owuldnt do nuthin for me cuz it burnt away so fast, these papers have no taste and make the bud burn so much slower, I was pritty high off that first clear joint. With a caked ass roach to it.
They're a cool idea I guess, but they don't seal well unless I get them really wet. I'll take my elements rice papers any day. -Mike
theyre not my favorite i would definetly take a bob marley over one any day even though theyre fucking cool looking and probably better for you
my brothers got some of those one time and i thought they were alright and yeah theyre cool but it def felt like i was smoking a capsule
The guy at my local headshop showed me some of those transparent papers, he deminstrated with some tobacco on how the heat from your hand will roll it up, all u have to do is tighten it. seemed pretty cool. may not be exactly what your talkin about, but they were transparent.
I got some of those in a goody pac I got for my b-day. They're OK. They do seem to burn slower. I just don't use papers that much anymore. Doesn't seem economical.
I think they're fuckin' great. They burn as slow as cigarettes, it's beautiful. They're hard to roll, though. And a bit on the expensive side.
they do suck to roll, but you can see exactly wat ur doing! and they are cool most people like them, not odorless like they claim tho (closer than joints to pure taste imo)
