I'm traveling to Amsterdam in a number of days and I'm very interested in trying some acid. I've been casually trying to get my hands on some for some time now. In Amsterdam, from what I can gather the only way to really get some is from street dealers which can be pretty shady. Anyways my question is this, Is there anyway for me to tell that what I'm getting is legit just by looking at it (which i believe is unlikely) or if my olny way is to try a small dose first what should I expect, to discern between the real stuff or just some other shit they're trying to sell me?
Yeah I know what you mean I'm not going to try anything I'm not comfortable with so I just may end up sticking with the mushrooms. However I do plan on asking around and trying to get some if I feel right about it. When dealing with street dealers is my biggest worry getting something different that will screw me up or is it just getting ripped off and paying for a piece of paper with nothing on it?
Street dealers here in Amsterdam do not offer LSD. After living in Amsterdam for 9 years, I can tell you that finding acid here is much more difficult than buying it in the USA. Some of the best acid I see in Amsterdam comes from American tourists who bring their own here. Try mushrooms when in Amsterdam.
We ran into 1 street dealer selling lsd in the dam while we were there in Nov. imo not worth the risk when you can get great shroomies. If you really want try Lsd go to a few music festivals. www.nlqp.com has some great music festivals. I have been goin there for 5 yrs runnin for the greatful fest. you might not want to try a new drug in public in a foriegn country lol. also, for something like acid its probably a good idea to know your dealer. that said, only one illicit dealer tried to sell me acid; most just sold cocaine. i wouldnt ask for acid b/c then they'll ask you to go somewhere with them (possible set-up) or ask to front the money most likely. the dealers in amsterdam didnt seem particularly dangerous though, some were chill; some tried to be hard but came across as a joke to me. id just stick with shrooms if i were you, they're easy to come by and certainly a far-less troublesome purchase. good luck
