hey i just got this new spoon last night for 25 from a friend. any name suggestions welcome. my friend who i got it from told me that the swirl on the bowl is pearl (or something like it i think, i was stoned) and he also said that not many blowers blow black so its kinda rare in that sense. his friend was the blower so it was made custom to have a small hole in the bowl and a big mouthhole.

Obviously it resembles a whirlpool in a couple ways, how about Charybdis (the whirlpool Odysseus had to get past in The Odyssey)? It's probably too long and cumbersome, but it's just what came into my head. You could shorten it to Carrie, and it has the word "char" in it.
^^ ya red's more my thing, but i saw this and liked it. STILL TRYIN TO NAME IT *hint* *hint* (im not creative enough). i was thinking along the lines of nautilus (cuz of the swirl), maelstrom, charybdis. on the other hand, alot of my friends think it looks like a comet so i was thinking like astro, cosmo, halley (like the comet) or something like that. any suggestions welcome
Comet-like names have a lot of potential. Anything cosmic might be really cool. To make a trend of long, completely unusable suggestions, how about Shoemaker-Levy 9? Seriously, Cosmo and Astro are short and sweet. The swirl on the bowl is a lot like a galaxy, too, maybe look into that.
Cosmos is good.. maybe Nebula? I'm horrible at naming pieces, that's why mines still unnamed and I've had him for about 2 years.
nice spoon. Yeah, none of my white friends like newports. All my black friends love 'em though, not to be a stereotypist, but every single black person down here who smokes smokes newports, and the stoners who smoke smoke camels. I dont smoke though
^^ ya it is weird how black people like menthols (newports in particular) so much. i originally got a pack as a joke, but i started liking them lol. as u can see from the pic, im white. ps. this reminds me of that chapelles show where he has a game show called like "I Know Black People" and one of the questions is "why do black people like menthols so much?" and everyones like "i dont kno" and hes like "That is correct! no one knows...."
