nooooo.....you MUST know Lou Rawls.....it is imperitive!!!

Tobacco Road is an old blues tune...they all covered it. Airplane's version is nice, slow, haunting...Lou Rawls does it up soul style with a little spoken word and a nice horn section....look it up!!

I only vaguely remember that song, but from what I do remember....its a good one. One of my dad's favorite bands.

As I started this post, I was listening to Tool - Right in Two. It just changed to Type 'O Negative - Black No. 1

It's a heavy German space rock band, so heavy on the bass that it's sometimes a bit stonerrocklike. It's hard to define, just think of it as a heavier Hawkwind. They had their debut out last year and I absolutely love it. :) Try to find it if you like stoner and/or heavy psych rock!

London calling of the Clash I assume? I only know the song, it's ok. Not really into them though.

Acid King - Phase II is playing here now.

    I don't know them.

I just finished listening to the Kingston Trio, most famously known for their 1958 song "Tom Dooley". I love their version of "Seasons In The Sun".
