Tesco Preg Test - Faint Line

Hi Guys,

I've just done a preg test as ive had some symptoms of being pregnant - I've been feeling sick, very sore breasts & feel a little strange (thats the only way I can describe it!).

I'm due to get my period on Thurs (18th) so thought I would do a test tonight.

I bought a Tescos own brand test and didnt realise that the tests are meant for after a missed period.

I have done the test and there is a faint line in the positive box, its not faint so that you can hardly see it but its not as bold as the one in the control window that says the test has worked.

What is the likelyhood of me being pregnant as every website ive looked at says its highly likely that im pregnant & the hCG hormone is weak due to testing too early.

What do you think, are there any tests that are meant for testing before my period is due and would you recommend I take one?

Haha, we have the same period-day. I'm sucha loser...

ANYHOW...

Um, I remember seeing something like "First Response" on teevee. Like as early as 5 days before your missed period type of deal. You could take one of those if you are paranoid or anxious.

 

So u think I am? I REALLY hope so but im trying not to get my hopes up and be disapointed!

 

I may try a clear blue one as ive read they are vry good?

 

Take another test to be sure... Maybe even just wait a few days... But as Stacy said, a line is a line. Congratulations!

 

Ive just done another test a clear blue one this time and there is also a faint line on there, YEY im sooooo happy!

I think I am to be honest, 2 positive tests plus i sort of know I am - I always wondered what women meant when they say you just know that your pregnant but now I do!

I hope you are pregnant too! So congrats ahead of time. If you take another one take it as soon as you wake up in the morning. Your first pee in the morning is the best time to do it. Good luck.

 

How about going to the family planning clinic... they'll let you know and it's a reliable source.

congratulations, my buba started out as a faint blue line, lol.

 

Did another test first thing this morning and was positive again and line was a bit bolder. I've also taken a sample into my docs and they will let me know Friday.

 

I've taken a sample into my doctors so think that will be the same as family planning clinic?

My first pee was always negative. But evening pee was positive.

Another question for you guys!

I keep getting pains simular to period pains but not as strong and only last a minute or two then disappear. Is this normal?

I also have really sore boobs, nipples are huge, sense of smell on overdrive, tired & nausea lol but great overall lol
