Any ideas about what might work for possible Monroe retainer???

so i need some ideas as to what i can use for my monroe as a retainer...I constantly lose those stupid o-rings and can't have any plastic retainers in too long because then my piercing gets irritated, and i can't keep on switching from retainer to actual jewelry because that also is getting my piercing irritated...


My piercing is as healed as its ever going to get (i have something that keeps me from healing properly) which is why it getting irritated is such a big deal, because when it gets irritated, thats real visible.........Has anyone tried tongue retainers for their Monroe/Labret piercings or maybe putting the flatback in backwards so that flat part is visible...

I'm trying to find a shop that does custom labret jewelry so i could get a retainer thats not plastic and doesn't use those stupid o-rings and uses push on top or external/internal threading instead (which is very difficult) -- if anyone knows of any sites, let me know!!
