Excellent. You know I may joke around with ya a bit but I have a lot of respect for your ambition. A post that you made earlier really rubbed me the right way. You said that you had written a particular song about John Bohnam but wouldn't tell people because you wanted to then to take it as whatever it meant to them. I have always taken that approach w/ books. I don't care what the author was intending. I only care what road my imagination takes me down. Books and songs are what you perceive them to be. There is no wrong or right. Keep up the good fight!
YEAH YEAH... The Revolution is starting!!! Actually i did write somewhere in this forum that i am also going to make band and Revolution and so on... And know my whey to rock star living is coming little bit closer because i have planed that in about 20.2 will come my demo... But i have to tell that it dosen't make any "revolution" because it will be like underground music... Also i do it in Finland... Also i sing in finish lanaguage... And i will made it with my cheap machines so the sound will not be good... But somewhere i have to try start my way to revolution!!!!
True That! As far as the future Woodstock goes though, you're also going to need to get as many other bands interested as possible. Get a real kick ass schedule of sets, and we will tour man. I've had similar ideas, but instead of driving and flying from show to show, I would like to ride in huge bike, horse, and walking packs across the nation, and end with a jam session in Washington. For peace and environmental protection. Keep in touch on my space, www.myspace.com/147318287. By the way this isn't my account, and don't do drugs!
right on..i am totally behind this i got dibs on guitar! i like Any Color You Like's analogy..very true.
UPDATE: She has decided to run away to LA. Sound like a good idea for a 15 year old girl? Well hell maybe she could be a prostitute until she gets her recording contract. http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=214393
I am beginning to think this was all a hoax. No one in their right mind would be headed for Sunset Strip. Anyone that truly wants a revolution show up in Washington on January 27th for the peace rally. And let's let this thread die out.
It'll never die Gardener. I gave up on that one a while ago. She has every intention of running away, I can assure you.
Read some of her other posts she has written, this new great leader of the revolution...lmao You have got to be kidding me. I cant beleive you older guys are buying into what a 15 year old, obviously very disturbed girl is saying. the one so called hippy was 8 years old when woodstock happened..bet he was out there protesting..give me a break. read some of her posts on other threads and decided whether or not you want to follow your new hippy leader to the magical land of peace and love. I will admit tho, if she did write those poems, she is talented, and i really doubt you will ever hear her new cd...she seems to be postponing it alot, but the poetry is very good. ill give her that.
dude, whilst your doing your thing where you are.. i will be doing exactly the same where i am. once i get my country where i want it, me and you will one day meet and laugh happily at what weve done. i totaly belive you can do as much as you say. ill play my small part. we have the same dream man. i so happy. good luck on your journey. hope to meet someday peace and love xxx
Hey new to the forum. Like the way woodstock thinks been listening to lots of Lennon to must have listened to Revolution 20,378 times. Anyway i was wondering if we start like a sign up or sumthing like that i dont now. Revolutions gotta come. Oh and i dont realise why some people are saying you have to be doped on LSD to spark a revolution. I mean LSD was actually used by the CIA to turn people into tripped out flower children so they wouldent be able to start a revolution. Anyway lets freak some intelligence communites out and spark this revolution Peace and love coming from a naive 14 year old.
This part: "I mean LSD was actually used by the CIA to turn people into tripped out flower children so they wouldent be able to start a revolution." ...is the funniest thing I have ever heard. LMAO good one man!
Here's something for you guys I hope you like it I wrote this There's something in the air, my friend This, I fear, might be the end. We'e got no hope, we've got no name We've only got ourselves to blame. And there's no time to stop the fight It's far too late to make things right But I'll say it on my dying breath: Give me love or give me death. They're taking all the young and free And all the able soon will be Among players on a killing field And the gen'rals, they'll refuse to yield. No, there will be no time to mend It's far too late to start again But I'll say it on my dying breath: Give me love or give me death. Though time will not be on our side And many loved are sure to die I'll say it on my dying breath: Give me love or give me death. There's something in the air, my friend That fosters fear, foretells the end. What's love against such reckless hate? Why hope when we all know our fate? And there's no time to stop the fight It's far too late to make things right But I'll say it on my dying breath: Give me love or give me death. The soldiers race the blood-red dawn The timer's set, and it won't be long 'Till the earth glows with atomic light And walls of smoke veil all in sight. No, there will be no time to mend It's far too late to start again But I'll say it on my dying breath: Give me love or give me death. We've got no pow'r to right the wrong So join me now in one last song And I'll say it on my dying breath: Give me love or give me death.
A bit pessimistic for someone who wants to start a revolution. We're not doomed yet, but we're getting there.
I know. I wrote that after me and my mom had a discussion about going to war with china and everyone would die I was completely hysterical and said I would gather everyone who still believed in peace and we'd sit in a field and sing songs instead of fighting And then apocalypse would come Ok yeah thats pessimistic but its how I felt at that moment
Not to be negative, but it's kind of scary that you believe you will change the world with the assistance of a few other people.
