I am a new grower. I have potential of outside growing space but i would prefer not starting with plant pots and just go natur'ale. The problem is besides the seeds itself and a shovel what should i bring and do to start my potential monster grow.
Potting soil. You won't find existing soil as good as what you can buy. I use compost-based organic soil with bat/bird guano, worm castings, seaweed/kelp, hydrated lime, mychorrizae and perlite. Fox Farms makes potting soil llike that, and so do other companies, check with large nurseries/grow shops. Soil in the average backyard is heaps better than the soil you'll find in the woods. Dig a hole 3' across and 3' deep and re-fill 1/2 & 1/2 with existing soil in a backyard, or 100% out in the wilds. It's a small investment for an increased, flavorful yield. P.S. Imo, organic nutes are better than chem. P.P.S. Space plants at least 6' from each other. The branches will easily grow 3' from the meristem, and you don't want to braches blocking each other from the light.
