I have to say their standards aren't up to scratch for me these days... I swing by more Costa Coffees and Cafe Neros these days..

    Coffee... mmm..

I hate hate HATE and loathe entirely... Starbucks and all other chain coffee shops. They suck, the coffee is extremely disappointing and not to mention the daylight robbery just for a cup of fooking coffee. I'd have a heart attack if I tried to drink-in!

No matter how you feel about Starbucks, you must understand that without them coffee would not be as popular as it is now, in America. Starbucks basically created the whole coffeeshop generation that is so dominant in our culture today. They opened the doors for many independent shops.

tall or grande non-fat latte with extra foam and cinnamon on top. If I am having a sugar fit then a low-fat vanilla latte or once in awhile I am super bad and get iced carmel machiatos

Yes, but most places (chains especially) don't allow any visible tattoo's or piercings. Some managers don't follow corp rules and reg's but when the district manager comes down one girl at my store still has to cover the tattoo on her wrist (usually with very large bracelets).

Starbucks is alright. I haven't been by enough to figure out what my fav drink is, aside from loving their frappucinos.

There's a local cafe that I generally prefer, it's closer to my house too. But if I'm downtown or at school (and the weather isn't so bad taht I refuse to venture outside for more than a few moments) then I'll hit up a Starbucks if I'm craving some coffee. Local cafe's are nice but most around here either a) have shitty coffe or b) have horrific service.
