Last night, a few friends and I were tokin' it, and they were like, "hey! Yo play some music. " So I suggested The Grateful Dead, but then my friend put in Bob Dylan- Highway 61 Revisited[the album] and it absolutely BLEW MY MIND!! I'm a huge fan of Dylan, but I must have been so stoned it was like listening to him for the first time. I felt as if he were right there[sort of like I was in concert, haha] Usually I can't concentrate much, but the lyrics of each song were embedded into my mind, and they were so amazing.=]

    So..question for everyone...
What's the best mind blowing/great music you listen to when your stoned?

An assortment of rap and classic/psychedelic rock, including Three Six Mafia, Tupac, Pink Floyd, Lynard Skynard, The Doors, and some other shit. I may be listening to some crazy ass violent Killa Klan Kaze stuff one minute, then I'll turn on "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong the next minute.

I have recently been listening to the new Rehab CD "Southern Discomfort". It is a mix of rap and rock.

ahh come on dig, it has been a couple of weeks since one of these threads. plus it is more than a search button, you gotta type something in to the bar. Although typing music or some variationo would be a lot shorter than creating yet another redundant thread

it is nothing against you Karma. If you stick around for more than a month, you'll see the same threads pop up over and over again and it gets annoying especially when there have been countless other threads on the exact same topic. BUt could you honesly think that a stoner's lounge forum that has existed for a few years wouldn't have covered good music while why at least a couple of times? I think not. Rookie mistake.

if u like dead and dylan get the cd "Postcards of the hanging" which is the dead playing Dylan songs. Dylan comes out for the last track (man of peace) and its pretty dope. I don't even like Dylan all that much but I love that disc.

And I gotta give ddj props, that whole wu album is dope as shit. "The mystery of chessboxin' " is of course another all time wu-great.

i mean you cant go wrong with Sublime or maybe some Pink Floyd, but i just came across the trippiest Beck cd. You know youre stoned when you start it, but you know youre gone when the cd ends.
