if its a glass pipe ispica, i recommend soaking it in 91% isopropyl overnight in a plastic cup. Then add lots of salt to the cup and cover the cup securely with saran wrap / elastic band. Shake vigorously (until you get bored) and the salt will act as an abrasive agent which will obviously help the cleaning process by knocking resin particles loose. Soak in clean water for awhile and your bowl is clean.

Thanks Koopa, I'll add the salt alcohol step and let you know after I run a test. What I really need is a couple of those carefully crafted doobies of yours. Maybe we should host a "Doobie" seminar.

    your welcome ispica.

NOTE: if its a glass pipe with lots of "frilly designs and protruding edges" don't shake it around in the cup very hard or you may break those things.

instead, do the day of soaking and then....

take the pipe out of the cup and plug the pipes "holes" as best as you can after filling 1/3 of the pipe itself with the isopropyl and salt. then just shake the pipe vigorously in your hand (insert dick jokes here people) :)

    Thanks Koopa,

It's actually a cheapo Amsterdam metal pipe that I origionally bought with the intention of tossing it after the trip to keep those facist squares at customs from finding it. But after filling the pipe with so many memories I couldn't part with it so I smuggled it home.

Now I keep it in the office and use it to mellow out towards the end of the day.

if its metal then you can probably just soak it in alcohol and then use a nice brand of pipe cleaners to clean it. just make sure to get 91% (not the standard 70%) isopropyl

Sorry to hear Cora won't be joining us this year. Hope she has a lovely visit with her family though.

Happy to hear you will be staying for Queensday this year. What an experience it is!

And yes, it's wonderful to have the board cleaned up and back to what's important, planning vacations.

Thanks nblaze for well....you know. Glad mopperm1 is FREE at last, free at last! LOL

    OINK!

Yes, the water was clean, but still, there's that first second when you look down and see your lucky pipe sitting there, at the bottom of the bowl and you gotta think fast.

Chinese Zodiac - Year of The Pig

"Intellectually curious, honest and tolerant, those born in the Year of the Pig can be relied upon for their loyalty and often make true friends for life."

    Oh how true it is!
