Beer or Hard Alcohol

Beer,
but as an over-50 I too have no choice,really.
Older bods just don't process alcohol as well and liver sclerosis is hard to reverse and live through.It isn't a dire issue for me;I drank all the hard A I ever wanted to,had a blast and honestly don't Need it now!Last time I had a lot of hard A it hit me wrong,bad trip,so there's no temptation even.
BUT-what I like is Merlot and it clears the arteries!hahahahah

 

i used to like a beer still do but it made me feel bloated so now i got on the hard stuff ,don't need to drink as much,to get happy and easier on the bladder,when i used to drink a lot of beer i was going every 5 minutes,now its only every 10 minutes

 

I used to be all about beer, now I think I'm losing my taste forr it and switching over to hard shit. Its been mostly Jaeger lately, as nobody else I hang with likes it so my stash is safe.

I absolutely love a good beer. Especially the first one of the day, can't have a better feeling. Stick it in the freezer or in a bucket of ice for half hour or so first to get it really frosty cold. I also love it in good bars when they keep the glasses in the freezer, so they are icy cold. LOL!! Actually most of the places that I have seen that do that are the nasty dives where guys like me go for cheap beer in large quantities, and the owners know that the customers care more about the beer than about the ambiance or any of that BS. I can only think of three places right now that keeps the glasses frosty, and I would never take a female to either one, unless I really knew her well, and knew she would appreciate. Most females don't appreciate that kind of place. Well, most females in Miami, anyway.

I'll drink any kind of beer, also, except for a pale ale. Can't stand that. I'll drink Olde English or Colt 45 before I touch a pale ale.

Though, I always have a bottle of cheap Vodka on hand for getting pissed on the cheap, cause I can't handle straight liquor and it all tastes the same to me when mixed. About $15 buys a 1.5 litre plastic bottle of the nasty. I got well used to drinking vodka and sprite on the subway or bus or walking the streets while traveling the world. My buddies and I walked around Edinburgh one evening with a bottle of liquor (they all had scotch) each in our backpacks. We would then stop into a store and buy a sprite or coke and keep exploring. like 5 hours, we walked. We were smashed. Went back to the hostel at like 9 and passed out.

Though, I much prefer beer. I can drink beer all day long, in fact my brother and I do so each Independance Day. Start at 10:30 when the parade starts. Go to sleep at 11Pm after the fireworks. Two years ago I drank 3 sixpacks. I know, because they were all different brands, easy way to keep count. Last year Margarita came to the party, and the mixing of beer and Tequila really messed me up. So I had to take a nap and the ethanol consumption really wasn't that much.

Sorry I talk so much. Just so much fun thinking about the good times.

Vodka, whiskey, cognac, shnaps, Samogon (home made vodka, about 120 or 130 proof), every thing goes.

Recently it's been hard alcohol, these 3 have been bought in large supply over the last week or 2;
Jagermeister/Jack Daniels/Goldschlager
...and the good nights have been getting better.

 

I'm not a big beer fan.

I don't drink a lot...in fact, I rarely EVER drink, but when I do, I want something a little harder than beer.

 

If im drinking and want to get smashed, its hard, but usually its beer for me.

 

I uusally drink beer, Foster's or Bud. But I am vulnerable to Jacky D's or Malibu.

I am a beer man myself. Back in highschool I drank shitloads of hard liquer. Every once in a while I might take a shot or somthing, but when it comes to partys, its all about the keg and the red plastic cups.. =-)

Well, whilst I like getting tispy like everyone else, I mostly drink for flavor, and I love good liquor. I'm in love with Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum. Bacardi is a good second best.

 

I like to drink both. Preferably at the same time.

If it's beer, it's got to be guinness, but Ill settle for a good lager as well. If it's hard liquor, a bottle of vodka will do just fine.

beer. if there is a need to get plastered quickly (more often than you'd expect) it'd be a couple of shots but then back to the beer again.

I find (especially lately) my drunken antics get a bit outta hand when I spend too much time on the spirits. beer is more predictable.
