When your main media outlets are owned by Turner Broadcasting and we are talking about cable companies, satellites, television stations ect the odds of you ever seeing anything but corporate intrest news being played is pretty slim. You will not see anything about the goverment allowing US based companies shift thier work force to countries that use a workforce that has to recruit its entire family to survive including the children. You may hear about it but it will not go in depth to disclose thier names and show the conditions that these people work and live in.

You will not see good coverage of anti war protests, just a little mention now and then.

When you do see a real juicy story, beware, its likely a given so you do not notice something more important going on.

That's another reason the net is so important now to get the message out.

Well, even the net has its dubious claims. You just have to find a trusted source (but then that begs the question: whom can you trust?).

The problem with news and information is that there is ALWAYS a biased. Even groups that try to be objective still have a leaning one way or another. I think it's all on what you want to read/listen to/watch. For one person, CBS (and the rest) is enough. For others, they dig deeper to find the truth.
