I've heard of people that have had the same dream as another person in the same night. Controlling one's own dreams is often difficult for people. Too control or influence other peoples dreams would probably take quite a bit of mental energy/power with some speciallty skills at doing it, if you believe it is possible.
one time i slept at my friends house and we both had a dream that we were in a fairy tale, and all the characters (humpty dumptys the only one i remember) were chasing us trying to kill us, they had one of our friends tied to a fence. I woke up and was like i had the weirdest dream, and we told each other about it, we both dreamed it! it was weird, weve been best friends for 8 years so that might have something to do with it...dreams are hard to control though because they are all coming from the subconscious, or collective events that have happened in the past or recently.
since dreams are affected by the recent events in your life, If you've spent a lot of time with a person recently that might help lead to having a shared dream. I'm not saying this as a fact but just making an assumption on what little I know about dreams.
To control is not the same like to share. And even control needs another's consent. I believe all is shared, much like a vibrational energy pattern created by all who are here and everything is connected. We just do not always realize. And how can anything in this universe be isolated so completely that it is not shared to some extent and does not impact other particles of consciousness ? I thought it's the same with dreams. My dreams often are crowded by people yet most I never meet in waking life. I still believe they are all real and just live somewhere else far away in their own waking bubble where everything is separate - as much as they live in my dreams, for a precious moment. And yes - maybe we learn better how to share in dreamtime by sharing more and better in waking life. Good dreams
if you are a dreamshaper, and there's a way of doing that, but control in the sense of trying to force anything isn't how it works. there is certainly a conectedness to many of the kinds of dreams we sometimes have. and there are ways we can learn to influence events we experience in them. and yes, in some sense appear, or our influence appear, in someone, or some several or even some many else's dreams. but there's however however, and that is that what appears, how the very landscape appears, in someone else's dream, is derived from that person's own symbolism. it's like, when you connect to the net, you have a client program, your browser is such a program, and online mulitplayer sims all have their own, that runs on your machine. and its that client program that makes the data that gets sent back and forth to the online place you're sharing mean anything, have any, all of the sort of interaction you're interacting with. that all takes place in your own machine, in the case of the net, or your own, experiential space in the sense of dreaming, then in it's own, much compressed sort of shorthand, it sends your interaction to the host. i don't know if this illustration will be meaningful to everyone, its just my way of trying to express that all that we see and experience, isn't just what impinges on us, but how we each internaly 'read' what does and 'write back' to it. so what i'm trying to say, is whatever you do that interacts with someone else's also dreaming awairness, will be seen by them, not as you see it, but as their own internal symbolism interprets it. so you see it becomes kind of uncertain, unmakecertainable, where what we perceive in our dreaming comes from. someone else might be 'dream sending', actualy interactively walking arround in them, or we might be simply interpreting some other stimulus as this happening. not just either or, but both of this things occur. a matter of degrees of both. and again, the 'magic' of dreams, like all 'magic' or 'doctoring' or whatever you want to call it, well the way to influence anything isn't by trying to control in any litteral sense, that's just like bating your head against a wall, or at least it would be for me, to put it in control terms. there are dream shapers though, and dream sharers. just people. who that happens to be their gift. and don't forget it's a big universe out there, full of other worlds, just as tangable and solid as our own, and people, in the sense of what people really means, and that isn't a matter of physical appearance, even dreamshapping people, are by no means unique to our own either. then of course there are people who exist in ways that don't involve having any sort of physical aspect at all, you know, spirit people and spirit critters and all that, and they can be pretty cool and friendly too. mostly though in dreaming as in awaike, it's never a good i idea not to be considerate of everyone else, individualy as well as in general. remember NOT everyone is ALWAYS looking for company. =^^= .../\...
Well I must have a lot of skill that I didn't know I had...I had a strange dream about my friend Leandra and my other friend Guillermo, who weren't quite friends in real life. Then, in the course of 3 months, they became friends. One night, I slept over her house. At that time, they were romantically involved. I didn't tell her about the dream I had 3 months ago becuz it just didn't come up. But I did tell my boyfriend. So, we woke up and she started telling me about a dream she had. It was my dream from before, only in her point-of-view. The same events occured...Guillermo threw cards at her feet saying a message in bright colors. But it was in her perspective, so it made sense. The point I think is not that she had the same dream I had, but that I dreamt about her telling me her dream. Becuz a lot of my dreams have become true, and are like exact clips of the future. They only pertain to me, though, not big events. I didn't believe that I even had the dream at first, becuz I didn't want to...but then my bf remembered me telling him about it. So yeah I don't exactly tap into her dreams, but tell the future of her telling me about her dream.
