Yeah you can get so lost on the roads (well dirt tracks). All good fun though, even on the commercial for welsh tourism they are making fub about driving around getting lost.
I was born in Llanelli, south Wales, and lived there until I was seven then I moved to Hastings, East Sussex. All the kids at my school couldn't understand me, it was horrible but tis the day where I can look back at it a laugh. And now my Welsh side of the family can't understand me with my so called 'posh' sussex accent ... no hope for me (or them). I think Wales is cool though, I will proudly say I'm Welsh but kinda glad I don't have to live there, nice just to visit... once in a while. x Ph x
West Wales is loverly!!! Very pretty and green!! Love it! I've been here all my life and its ace!!! LOVERLY!!!!
No NO, just until I have my wisdom teeth taken out at the beginning of Feb, then I want to go back to Prague. I'm off to Prague on the 27th Jan to see some friends and apply for some new jobs and look at some apartments.
Man, I don't know what the FUCK you just said. But you're special man. You reached out, and you touched my heart.
Mainly, but there are some letters that are pronounced differently. CH - Pronounce it from the back of your throat, as if to hock up phlegm. LL - Place your tongue on the roof of your mouth and breath sharply through the sides of your tongue. DD - As in 'Th' but with a buzzing sound.
Singly the most accurate description of Welsh pronounciation I have ever read. Llygaid! Aw, god dam I got an E in Welsh (GCSE) lol.
Very interesting. Cheers me dears Oh yeah... what's the name of that really long train station again?
