Okay, so we got an incinolet just before Christmas. We used it for a week or so and it died. We called the company and they said that's unusual and that it may be the relay. So, they sent us a new relay. We put it in and now we need a wire for it, cause the one that was in there melted. Our friends who live just down the hill, have one as well. Theirs is significantly older than ours. They've had similar problems with theirs. I guess I'm just trying to get some feedback from others who own or have used an incinolet toilet for any period of time. I mean, this is a 2,000 dollar piece of equipment folks. I would think they'd work better. Thanks for the feedback~*
They have a burner and fan that dries out the waste. I know a guy that made his own based of the Humanure Handbook, it works for him and dont stink either.
Seems like it to me that if a wire cooks out all the time the wire is too thin and if its a wire designed to act as a fuse that burns apart to save other parts then you might be drawing too much current for the system maybe due to a short someplace.
