LOL! Just take a break for a few weeks. Everyone needs that sooner or later. Dig your new lady, spend quality time, then come back and tell us all about it. Inquiring minds MUST know! Either way, good luck!
Thank you Skip. Truth is, this not-so-little community you have created here is like my home away from home, my second family. Thank you.
I think the sad truth is it's more home than home is for many here. Some ppl need it temporarily for support during a crisis, some need to discover like-minded people, so they know they're not alone. Others really carve out a niche here of their own. Many come and go, only to return years later. I enjoy reading those posts from people who say how much they've changed since they first joined. Of course many of these were just barely teens at first and of course they're going to change. Some feel they've outgrown the site, as they've gone to college, or gotten married & had kids and the site no longer fills that need they had when they first arrived. In any case, I hope people learn some things here that help them in the "real world". But in reality, there isn't a valid reason to never come back, as there is so much going on this site, there's always something to inform, amuse, entertain, enlighten or inspire you here. So even if you've got a new wife and a house in the suburbs with 5 kids and are working 2 jobs, there are STILL things here to relate to (believe it or nuts!). The Parenting forum for instance... Yup, they're right when they say ppl who make these goodbye threads rarely leave... Hell, even the DEAD come back here!
Awww..... that was touching. You've just given me a complex by the way. Internet = possibly more than just spam and entertainment!?
Skip, you are right. I just needed time to think it over I suppose. But it is like family here.... even those that hate me remind me of family.
It's also the middle agers coming back to recapture youth. I didn't say bye DS becasue I knew you weren't leaving.
