Im having a major conflict with this movie. The movie is being promoted "based on a true story" about a serial killer. The world's worst serial killer. But actually the serial killer is a crocodile. Isn't that false advertisement? Can an animal, that is by nature a predator, be considered a serial killer? Directory > Words > Dictionary serial killer n. A person who attacks and kills victims one by one in a series of incidents. But if you still want to personify an animal, mass murderer would be better, I guess. It makes me wonder how crappy the movie is that they are trying to convince you is not about Anaconda's step brother and Jaw's distant cousing, Gustave. Not even the plot makes sense. "A news team is sent to South Africa to capture a notorious man-eating crocodile known as "Gustave," who is supposed to have claimed over 300 human victims" Seriously.. a news team? A FUCKING NEWS TEAM? They send a news team to south africa to CAPTURE a man-eating croc. Im guessing, because no one has better knowledge in wild life like a bunch of reporters from where? New York? San Fransisco? Tragedies always happen when you put stupid people to do a work they are not capable of. Like me trying to change the oil and filter of my truck, or my husband cooking. Its just not gonna happen. Sure Im gonna fuck up the truck and he's gonna burn the kitchen, we might even die!, but is not worthy of a movie, documental or tv show! If you think Im wrong and the movie is going to be amazing. Tell me why.
I agree. I was interested when I saw the preview, but then I looked up "Gustave" and found out that it was a crocodile. I was extremely disappointed and definitely won't be wasting my time or money on that one.
Yeah, I saw this expecting it to be a horror flick with some crazy killer... I was quite dissapointed. It wasn't even a good movie for what it was... Funny in some parts, not scary at all...
I was wondering about this movie. my bf and i watched the trailer and were like wtf? we expected it to be a person, but i had this feeling it would be some kind of animal. i bet it'll be pretty crappy. but sometimes these really dumb b movies are actually funny just because its like OMG are they serious!??!?
