I wasn't sure where to put this bulletin, but this area seemed most fitting. I was wondering if anyone had stories of their experiences in the Peace Core to tell me.. I'm planning on going to a four-year college and going into the Peace Core with my boyfriend (yes, I know you have to be married to guarantee not getting split up into different areas of work) before my traveling and eventual "settling down." I'd love to hear positive stories to pump me up for changing the world a little bit. Thanks, loves!
Mm, honestly, I don't think so.. and if I'm right, that's a damn shame.. if it were open to more people it'd be even more helpful.. but if I were you I'd make sure that I'm right (I could very well be terribly wrong & I'm just too lazy to check the website on my slow dial-up connection) Here's the official website.. http://www.PeaceCorps.gov
I'm planning to join it after a little bit of a college too. I can't wait. By the way, I love the purse in your signature
The manticore- In order to join the Peace Corps, you must be over age 18 and be a U.S. citizen. Non-citizens may not join the Peace Corps. That's what it says before the application. I'm sure the UK has some sort of program like Peace Corps though.
