OMG. HOW could a mother do this to her child? OBVIOUSLY these babies are not being breastfed (or won't be after this silly thing is done with) I wouldn't have parted with any of my babies for a moment, at this age, for anything in the world. Not to mention the separation, which we KNOW can cause serious damage to the psychological development of a child. IMO, this is disgusting.

People will do anything to get on TV and make a little money. Now, they are getting people to pimp out their babies.

Also, it won't prevent a single teen pregnancy. Teens have a "this won't happen to me" mind set a lot of the time (ask about any teen who got pregnant unintentionally) and this show will only be for entertainment value.

If they really want to teach young people about childcare, put them in a class of Child Development, maybe have them shadow a REAL parent for a few days, and pass out free birth control.

Sorrry, but my sympathy is with the babies who will be damaged by the separation from their mamas, just to make a stupid TV show. Sorry.

Is someone supervising every minute? What if a baby won't stop crying and gets shaken? Holy freakin' scary...

I totally agree, it's very unethical on the part of the producers and no way could I consider handing my child over (especially to someone younger and less capable than myself). Three days doesn't sound long but those babies aren't going understand, just that their mother isn't around.

We have the highest teen pregnacy rate in Europe, something needs to be done but that's not the way to do it.

Sick! Reality television has gone way too far! But as long as there's people who are stupid enough to fall for all the nonsense, reality television will continue to grow and thrive.

I think bringing in someone into ones home for a few days would be the better alternative, that way at least one of the parents would be actively involved with the caregiver around the clock.

I just know that I would never, or could never do such a thing. Poor little babies.

Yeah, i just don't understand how any parent could do that.

The parents are living down the road with live feed from the house and can go take the baby back whenever they want and there is a nanny always there, but i can't imagine what it does to the mother-baby bond.

Yesterday this girl went food shopping and put all the shopping bags on the back of the buggie and it fell over backwards.

None of the couples relationships are strong enough to do it, all of them have been arguing, one couple left the baby in the bathroom next to the bath which was full whilst they went and argued. The nanny sorted it out and the parents came back to collect the baby.

Well it's sure put any thoughts of having kids out of my head. I think it's good how it shows that having a baby at this age is really tough, but they really shouldn't have split the mom and baby.

why couldn't they have just stuck the camera on the family whose baby it was? That would have been far more realistic, as it is it gives people the out of thinking "oh well it wasn't their own baby and if it's your own things are different" the way they have done it. Also how realistic is it to have a nanny there to mop things up when they all go wrong, by the sounds of it I can understand why they did but sheesh!
