how long do you suppose they will take to anounce this ? ......how could anyone that just found out hope to put it together to hit this gathering on such short notice .......20 yrs ago i was there and the law was real bad there ....peeps tell me things have changed , but in a weeks time how would one get good airfair ?
yeah 20 years ago was manuel norriega, and things have changed alot. make no mistake the US created that whole norriega fiascoa. what you do find is great country with wonderful and warm people. we have had 2 previous gatherings in 05 and 06 and they were both around 200 people. i thought i had already posted this gathering on hipforums, nonetheless, you can still find tickets for like 400-500 dollars. ... maybe see some of ya der ... tenali

PS!!!! Does anyone know anyone that'll be willing to share a ride? Or about the possibilities of hitchiking through mexico to panama? or travel options at all?
Mexico to panama? yeah you can hitchhike, weigh stations for trucks are the best spots to find a ride or truck drivers in general. The best bet though is to take the Tica bus from tapachula,mexico to panama city,panama for 70 dollars(obviously food costs and border fees not included) and it takes like 2 days or something. check ticabus.com for more info...directions to the site should be posted sometime in the next week and a half....chau ... tenali
!!!! Just found out I cant get the visas I need!!!! South african passport!! Man, they want flight tickets in n out of the country, bank statements, etcetera etcetera! Even Panama wants all of that! Mexico I can kinda understand but Panama??? In south africa we have saying for this Noyt mybruh! oh well if its not meant 2 b.... (booohoooooooo)
are u sure? i have a friend from SA that came a few years back. usually by land you can pass right on threw with no problems. but dont take my word for it....damn, see what you can do....tenali ps do you need a letter of invitation from a panamanian? if so, iu have friends who can help...
