The brain and me got an offer we can't refuse

So the Brain and me have got this sweet offer, we are allowed to teach a class for one hour, so now we can preech awareness for the system, but the problem is, the rest of our class are a bunch of dumb red neck right wing conservative hicks, so how should we bring this?

try and appeal to there limited perspectives, dont bring the old stereotypical hippy lingo... speak there language, and put things in terms they can understand... things like states rights, and the right to own property, the stuff the civil war was about, i mean, us northern liberals were the ones trying to give all the power to the federal government while the confederacy was fighting for individual freedoms...true, giving power to the federal government resulted in the emancipation proclamation, but abraham lincoln was in the white house then, im sure gorge bush would have gone the other way

So anyway, they postponed our sweet hour to next week since we dont have to go to school Friday, so next week we got the chance, we got a few sweet ideas, like spreading love!

 

But I daren't....for a big school class with only farmers....Help! How we can spread love there?

they are dutch so your whole history of america story isn't really relevant. it is a good story, but more relevant to the americans themselves. most of the people understand that the whole bush thing is not really a good thing to the world, as far as my experience goes (and I'm a dutch myseflf, so...).
anyway, as far as the situation in holland goes i think it's best to tell there are other, better, more exciting, rolmodels in the world than mtv (try the freetekno movement, pretty idealistic, anarchistic "squat techno-movement). mabey you can tell something about the history of subcultures and how people whitin the subcultures looked on live "the system". tell there is so much going on outside the picture our popular media shows us everyday and that change starts with the initiative of someone who wants to see the change in the world.
mabey you could tell how all the fucking hostility between the 'wilders-crowd' and "foreigners" (turks, marrocans) is spoiling our country more than anything else. they say the marrocans and the turks bring so much trouble, but the only trouble i see is the hostillity that comes from all the hard-edged opinions everyone has. if that is freedom of speech, the right to fight and not to listen to someone's opinions. it doesn't has a point anymore. we have to get back to the point where we want to live together in a peaceful society and not in a multicultural society where everyone is afraid to lose it's own culture.
above all i think you have to get with ideas yourselves. these where some ideas of my own. i hope you dig em and i hope you can establish something beautiful. how did you get to the subject anyway? i think you really should tell something about how the 'positive loving hippy state of mind' could help to cure our society from all the coldness we all experience everyday.
