When you have a groin injurie (I mean no open wound, "just" swollen testicles) and you were told to keep yourself calm down there ("schonen") for a few weeks, how would you avoid to get involuntarily aroused ? The experience I made is the more you try not to think of sex the more it somehow gets in your subconsciouness and then you get a full erection and cant get rid of it for the next hours. And depending when I took my painkillers its not immediate painfull, every time I think hey its OK now, but a few hours later its painfull again (the swelling is better than the day after the kick but still there). Any suggestions on how to keep your mind REALLY occupied with other things ?

Ok...This might sound like a joke , but im serious....you are a straight man , you like ladies...ok...untill you heal , the minute you begin to get hard...think of sex with a guy...that will take care of the problem...you will lose your erection...and might not get another for awhile

Thanx, Im not taking this as a joke at all... Ill try ! In fact theres something similar I was already doing, back in school we had a female history teacher who was near her sixtys, and quite fat, some of us talked jokingly about duing "Mumienschändung" with her (roughly translated "misuse of a mummy") because she was so old, so the thought seeing her naked is more or less the least erotic thing I can think of. Only problem is, it does not really keep your mind occupied, so Ill try try your suggestion for a change - thanks again !

I find that when I play video games, sex is the last thing on my mind. Especially competitive ones, unless I'm playing something like Dead or Alive volleyball extreme ( this game features girls in bikinis and thongs with huge tits playing volleyball ). Try a ten day free trial of world of warcraft, or get an xbox and play online.

Also, watching and thinking about sports tells my libido that it is not needed for this, and it goes bye bye.

Take a cold shower,or put ice cubes in a baggie inside your underwear. Or think about kissing George Bush or Dick Cheney.

i agree with the computer games thing, or watch movies. really good ones. get into babylon 5...or star trek or something really addictive. also hanging out with friends that you're NOT attracted to might help, then your mind will be on other things.

ooo..and you could learn to meditate, that way you'll be a lot better at simply clearing your mind.
