Yeah, apparently this year will be the warmest on record. If last summer in wales is to by, I wouldn't suprised. This winter was very mild. People are playing golf in chicago, I think this is really global warming. Here it's windy (like most winters) but mild, no snow .
i'm in minnesota and it's a balmy 30-something degrees in january! it's been like this all winter so far....
Politicians are always afraid of loosing votes. :leaving: So we have to keep encouraging them that they are going in the right direction, but more decisively. :toetap: Perhaps we can persuade the politicians to take more real action: http://www.powerdownpetition.org UK: http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/ USA: http://www.ipetitions.com/ Australia (Queensland, well I tried...): http://www.getinvolved.qld.gov.au/get_involved/parliament/petition.html And email against Green Wash: http://www.turnuptheheat.org/?page_id=4 Pass it on ...arty:
Over the weekend, well at least friday and saturday, the weather here in my part of Mass was really awkward. The temperatures were in the mid 60s to high 70s! I dont know if i should pass this as a random heat wave, but its january..its never been this hot during these months in awhile. Maybe it was just a random act of nature, or a mix of the warming..im not sure how to judge it.
Yeah I'm in Massachusetts too. Normally its FREEEEEEZING here by now, but last week felt like spring time!!
The weather is wonderful, went hiking Saturday. took the bike for a ride on Sunday! It was 70 degrees on Saturday in NJ
