Saddam executed on December 30th 2006. still a highlight for me in 2007 as we don't have to keep listening to what becomes of the old dictator.
I liked it when they discovered that the man they hanged was actually just one of Saddam's lookalikes, and that all this time the real Saddam has been disguised as leader of the Conservative party, David Cameron. Didn't see that one coming, but at the same time, I think we kind of knew all along!
I also liked how they found the secret to cryogenic freezing/revival and sponsored Saddam for it just after his second trial. The death sentence 25 times! Far more fitting, now people can't say death is too quick and easy

We have barely scraped into 2007 and suddenly we are getting retrospective threads. I wonder what time and date zone people are in 2006 was a year to remember and personally in my life it was a year of reflection and coming to terms with the events of 2005.
