Some pretty grimey shit I did on New Years Eve

Well, let me start this off first by stating that I am an addict, a definate substance abuser. Ive been addicted to opiates for 3 years now and its hell. I went to rehab in September, stayed away from oxys for 50 days which is amazing for me. But I relapsed and continue with active addiction.

Well, New years eve I was broke and wanted to get high. I knew my friends grandparents always have money around the house and I wanted it. I went to Stop and Shop and bought some leftover christmas cookies for like 2 bucks and made a plate and wrapped them in saran wrap. I drove to their house and knocked on the door. I told them that me and my girlfriend made some christmas cookies the day before and I wanted to stop by and bring them some because they helped me out back in the day by giving me rides a few places. Well, I chill and talk to them for a bit and ask to use the bathroom. The grandfathers room is right next to the bathroom and I knew where he kept his money. So needless to say I walked out of there with 220 bucks in my pocket.

Isnt it crazy how decitful addicts can be? Since I am still active I really have no emotion and really could care less what I did. Somewhere deep inside of me I kinda felt I had to share this though because I wanted to show you how much of a piece of shit I could be. Its not the first time I stole, probably wont be the last. Hell, ive ripped off Home Depot and Lowes for like 5 grand in the past month. Oh well, until I come to terms of exactly how powerless I am over addiction im gonna keep fucking up.

 

Wow, haha I had problems with opiates for longer than that and I have never stolen to support my habit. I am all about not putting drug addicts in jail, but theives, why not?

Okay so you realize that you didnt do a good thing and you realize the actual cause of you doing that so why don't you get help to stop using again?

 

From what little I know on addiction the first step is realizing there is a problem. Excellent post I hope you start moving in the right direction.

 

That really sucks. Stealing from Lowes and Home Depot isnt so bad but from the old people is really wrong. They let you in and trusted you. And you fucking stole their money? That wasn't very nice. Especially when the grandfather figured out what a low level piece of shit you are.

All you do is going to come back to you in some way or another.

I know people like this, and while I do not hate them, I will never ever trust them. Hopefully you can kick this addiction and come back to the real world.

 

Dude you need to clean up your act and apply for a job with the CIA. That was some straight Spy Game shit you just told us. All the addicts I ever knew( just one that I know of ) would just go to the store and try to steal something, and then try to sell it. You had a plan.

That's still fucked up though.

 

Just a little update... I called a bunch of doctors in my area that are certified in addiction detoxification and maintance using Suboxone. Well, I got an appointment for later this week so lets see how it goes. Also, thanks to everyone who posted cause I kinda need to hear some of the stuff you guys/women posted. I realize everything does come back to you in the long run and I am ready to face it. Im sick and tired of living a two/face life. I hope that this all works out for the best, ill keep you posted.

You're pathetic. I hope the the grandpa finds out and throws a pipe bomb into your window. That sounds really mean, but the world would just be a better place without people who do insanely messed up things like this.

 

Maybe you could somehow start leaving gifts for the people that you stole from. Or somehow repay them.

 

How would the world be a better place? Then people would have no one to compare themselves to in order to make themselves feel better. Without wrong there can be no right. At least the guy realized how fucked up he behaved and is working on improvement

You're fucked up in the head. I'd definitly feel bad if i did it, and i'm addicted to xanax, basically the same as opiates. Just so you know, you are fucking your life up big time! But i'm sure you don't care. As long as you get your fix.
