So your fear of water is growing, progressivly getting worse? I always thought phobia's were more of a sudden thing to happen, sparked by an event of somesort.

But nonetheless, I'd say the best wat to approach it is to confront it. You say you love swimming; what about water scares you? That you will drown?

Take it slow May Aizelle ::

The first step is realizing why you have this fear of water. Fear of drowning, fear of chemicals, understand what about it is bothering you.

Do you have a problem drinking water? Or is it just being in water. What about showers/baths?

Give us some more info here, than I can try and help you. I am no Psychologist, but I just finished out my semester of Psych and I'm actually pretty well versed in the standard treatments for phobias..

and hey, if you're that worried, seeing a therapist can't hurt! It can be an extremely enlightening experience to have a private, relaxed conversation with a cool therapist, that you can tell anything to with no worry of your privacy being compromised.

up until recently I hadnt had issues with showers and like now I still take twice a day but Im all paranoid about like germs and like flesh eating bugs so Im really super hella jumpy about it..

but it started with like jumping into deep water.. I used to do it all the time as a kid and now like I wont go in pool water hardly... Im terrified that a fish or something is going to bite me or something is going to grab me and pull me under no matter where Im at Im just positive that theres something under me especially if I cant touch and feel the bottom...

Jeez, I don't know the best thing for defeating a phobia is confronting it. I mean obviously you wont be jumping off the back of a boat in the middle of the ocean just yet. Take baby steps, do what you feel comfortable with. That sounds more complicated than I feel qualified to advise on. But like I said, if you're that worried, seeing a therapist can't hurt.

I'm really sorry, I couldn't give you more info. Good Luck =\
