I'm thinking I'm a bad person cus i made up a boyfriend who lives near my grandpa's so that my friend wont ask me out.

well, i brought my buddy Stumpy to my grandpa's for the weekend and she told me that my buddy ,Austin ,likes me alot. A week or so earlier i gave him a note that said i liked him and stuff but now i don't ever want to go out with him cus he scares me. So , being me ,I don't really like to hurts someones feelings unless its like a last choice type of thing, and Stumpy and myself made up a guy named Sam who lives near my grandpa's ( that way he wouldn't be able to want to meet him and shit) So now I had to inform my sister and my best friend Hannah about this so they don't go all crazy wanting to meet him too.

I've realized that if Austin finds out that this guy doesn't exsit then he wont ever talk to me again and this would completely distroy my little group of friends because they would all take one side or the other.



This makes me a bad person doesn't it?

 

I don't think that sending him a note saying you liked him and then backing out of it without telling him is really, hmm, appropriate

But realistically, this will blow over no matter what happens. I mean, at 13 there's all sorts of silly drama going around. It still happens when you're older but not as bad.

 

I beat the shit out of a guy named Austin in high school.

why would you liek a guy that scares you?
why would you give a guy a note saying you like him if you don't want a relationship with him?
why did you have to make someone up at all? I mean, he didn't even tlel you he likes you or asked you out yet...

darling. i'm sorry to tell you this but he doesn't like you like that. i know thats what stumpy told you, but from what i hear from him, is that he doesn't really like you that much. shit. this sounds so teenager-ish and bitchy. you didn't need to make up a "boyfriend" because he wasn't going to ask you out. if he did like you and wanted to go out with you, he would've asked you already. it's been like 2 weeks? since you gave him that note, and nothing has happened.

you lying to austin isn't goign to detroy our little group. when nick and i broke up and he started dating your sister, it didn't do anything but make our group stronger. i really do not think that he is going to care. you could tell him about "sam" but i just think he'd go "oh really? finally someone goes out with you, fuck woman.". you know. say something austin-y.

i adore you ry, but insted of hearing things through other people, just talk to him yourself and find out the truth. i love you honey!!

 

i don't know that i would really consider this guy "sane". lol. just kidding. austin's cool, but you take everything so seriously, i definitely wouldn't suggest you date someone in your lil group of friends. wait til you get to be a freshman and you can date one of my friends. *gasp* jk.

okay, instead of lying, you should have carried on as normal. If he asked you out, you could tell him that you either weren't interested in a relationship right now, or that you just want to be friends with him, because you don't want a relationship to ruin your friendship
