The comic and the cartoon show? I love TinTin! I might get some of his comics tonight and read them to my son, since its a rainy day and the city is moving badly right now. I like staying in doors on days like this with him and reading.

i heard about, saw samples of him, in the back of this other comic that was about some barbarian guy, aux or ax somthing, darn i can't remember the name, but i think that one was also from france. and i stumbled on THAT from something else, i don't remember what, i was also interested in at the time. anyway it wasn't groo or hagar, but it was another one like that, a celtic/gaulic barbarian guy from when the locals where kinking the romans back out of wherever in western europe or great britan it was supposed to be taking place in. you probably know the one i'm thinking about. i'm just totaly crappy when it comes to remembering names of anyone or anything, other then some kinds of tecnology stuff.

i think this was when i was living up in portland oregon back in the 80s that i stumbled accross those. i think the tintin ones were reprints even then. that or they were made to look like they were for some reason. or maybe that was just the impression i got.

Sweet! Did you ever read his comics? Tonight I was reading some, and also a comic book graphic novel collection of Moomin comics. Ever hear of Moomin? They are the best! So funny and strange but cute and intelligent at the same time

these are unrealated. rin tin tin was a dog. an alsatian. possibly origeonaly a k9 corps dog from wwii.

(lassie may have been created by a competing network to win ratings away from it)

tin tin was this guy, kind of youngish, somewhere between mid adolescence and mid 20s, with kind of a wierd hairdo, but always dressess neatly, even where you wouldn't expect anyone to be able to remain so. it is after all a comic. and has adventures of various sorts.
