I've been scanning the threads for a couple days and liked what I saw - so - here I am.

My screen name is derived from the fact that I live in the Rockies - over 5000 feet up. The air up here is thin - but it IS still breathable!

I'm a forty-two year old female, I live in a VERY conseravative area (our county was rated THE most conservative in the entire USA).

I don't fit in well - with my Subaru, my "Organic", "treehugger", and "Give Peace A Chance" stickers, with my tattoos (of flowers, dragonflies, and my signs - Leo and Dragon), with my liberal leanings and environmental encouragements.

I'm considered "one of THOSE" - you know - the ones who don't particularly support the war. (GASP.)

I am probably the only one for hundreds of miles.

I am the only person remotely like me in the entire side of this state - but as I read through the threads here - I see that I am indeed not alone - so I thought I'd join and see if I can make some buddies.

    So hi, here I am.

    :)

    urbangal -

We bought a school bus from Rupert too! We tore out the seats, added a kitchen, bath, br and lr - put solar panels on top - now it's our guest home.

    GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!

    makno -

Where would I live if I could live anywhere?

Right here - but with a large group of likeminded people. I think I live in the most gorgeous place on earth, it just lacks HIPPIES and other free-spirited souls.

To all others - thanks for the warm welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks all!

Cerridwen - great screen name. Goddess for Wisdom, Inspiration, and Transformation. Good choice!

sam-sunrisa - I play chess but I don't play chess WELL, I'm afraid my brain is not so inclined. I'm more of a "Scrabble" type!

Thanks again for the warm welcome.
