Question on smoking out of a brass pipe

Is it okay to smoke out of a brass (or maybe copper) pipe if its really tarnished? Just wanna make suuuuuuure.

 

copper wouldn't be too good for ya. but i dunno if brass is THAT bad i mean...they still make pipes out of em do they not?

 

Copper is no good.. they add chemicals and shit to it. Brass Im not sure though... it depends if the bowl is made out of copper/brass, because thats what you'll be setting the flame to. Copper and brass should be safe to smoke out of if the bowl is made of something other than that though..

 

brass is fine. my proto pipe was made out of brass, and there was no residual chemical taste or smell.
copper is bad though.

 

Well I think its brass. I was wondering if its bad if its tarnished or if that doesn't matter.

I wouldnt smoke outta tarnished brass.. wether its harmfull or not. I'd take the steps to clean it up first. A good soak in lemon juice possibly?

u get tin foil pipes, and theire a **** to ur lungs

 

scrub it up with a little water and tooth paste. then rinse it clean, then heat it up with your lighter, and you'll be good to go.
