Against the growing degree of control, those fortunate enough to have come into power, have over the daily lives of others. I think the human mind is something which we innately cannot understand, far less excercise authority over. We are each our own and therefore surely should be able to excercise our will, free from the perversions and persuasions of advertisments and societies, forcing percieved wants into our faces from almost every direction. Each of us is born free, a human being and no less an animal than a wolf or wildcat... it is only as we age that we are contitioned to the "obvious" distinction between human and animal. Im not exactly sure what I am trying to say here, except that maybe if we all stopped filling the place of what is obviously lacking in our lives with material possesions, and maybe thought about why it is we feel so empty in the first place, well then maybe we would all be better off in the long run. Note: sorry if the above is just a confusing ramble... it apears to make sense to me... ^.^
