They're amazing! I've never seen anything quite like them. You have a real individual style which i love. Did you use pastels?
i dont really like the whole image, but its just my taste. your technique is real good. keep up the good work =)
thanks lazysunbird. the bottom one is soft pastel, and charcoal. the top one is colored pencil on black paper. Crayola. thankyou for being honest! I wish more people were. I shall indeed strive to keep my work good
The green and black snake looks as if it's supposed to be protruding out of the picture, but it looks far too 2-D.
thankyou. it is all rather on one plane. the "green and black snake" is actually an iguana's tail. the hind leg is the nose of the portrait, it's supposed to be wrapping around to the back. the 2 dimensionality of the piece doesn't lend itself well to that though. I was trying to get the lighting and shape to lend itself best the the shapes in the face using the animals. not incredibly successful, but so far on of my best pieces.
Wow! There's a turtle! I love how there's more and more things to see if you look closer. Well done. I still can't see the Iguana though.
The iguana's pretty clear I think, but I can't see a-- WAIT! Yes! I can see a turtle! It's really cool, must have taken forever.
wow! this is awesome, you have a wonderful style. i'd love to see it progress, keep posting things. It's so busy, in a good way. would be pretty awesome to view whilst participating in some mind expansion ifyaknowwhatimean, lol.
I see the iguana! I agree, this piece is very cool. The more you look, the more you see. This must've taken you ages. It's really planned out very well. The technical skills are good, you show a lot of promise! Just keep hacking away at things, reveal your full potential.
I like the pieces within the piece but dont know that i like the overall. I really like it though. You have talent for only 20 so keep up the good work!
