"Exit Music (Songs With Radio Heads)"

My housemate got this album for her birthday yesterday. It's pretty darn amazing if you ask me! Here's what Andy Morris has to say about it:

"People get confused about cover versions. They are a labour of love, not some sort of disrespectful treatment of the classics. Everyone involved in the EXIT MUSIC project loves the music of Radiohead. SONGS WITH RADIO HEADS doesn't attempt to replace the originals as "definitive versions". Instead, like the Futureheads cover of Kate Bush or The Slits cover of Marvin Gaye, this is an exercise in translating well loved tracks into a differant genre."

As you can see, it's a Radiohead cover album. Lots of dance/jazz/experimental reworkings. Features:

RJD2 (Airbag), Shawn Lee (No Suprises), The Randy Watson Experience (Morning Bell), Lo Freq (Blow Out) and Sia (Paranoid Android) along with 9 other tunes. S'Cool :H

Hehe, yeah we have "Radiodread" too :D
It's by Easystar Allstars who also did "Dub Side Of The Moon". Which is also smashing :) Dave Gilmour called it, "Fun".
