I have been away from traditional r&b for a while because some of the stuff being put out was, well...not as inspired or listenable as the old 60's and 70's stuff. But the other day, I had my radio on at work (the only time I listen to broadcast radio is @ work) and I heard a John Legend song called 'Save Room'...wooooooooow. This song is a throwback to some really good music. In addition, there's an artist out of the UK named Corrine Bailey Rae that has a very listenable album out, too. They won't do it singlehhandedly, but these two artists may influence R&B to start sounding like real soul music again. Has anyone listened to these artists? If you have, what do you think about their music?
