If there was a fire blazing in your home, and you had a few minutes to grab 5 things you could remove safely, what would those 5 things be.????? Mine are: 1 My suitcase of family photo albums. 2. My daily journals 3. My shoulderbag (personal, id, etc) 4. A large storage tub of hats I made, and could sell for a new start 5. Library materials (the fines would be enormous)
1. my guitar 2. my bassguitar 3. both amps 4. my passport 5. some pictures. But before I would take all that stuff , i would wanna know of my family is ok. when they are ok, then I would pick the stuff.
If a fire started right now at this second... I would grab my mother's computer, which I am using, my guitar, my wallet, my passport, and my meds. Everything else is rather replaceble.
1. My hubby and kids of course! 2. My discs of digital pictures of the family 3. My bag of keepsakes (wedding pictures, my positive pregnancy tests, ultrasound pictures/videos, coming home outfits, favorite baby blankets, hospital bracelets) Hmmm, I can't really think of anything else to be honest, everything else could be replaced.
i would thank god for this wonderful oppurtunity to liberate myself from all my possesions and take the clothes off i was wearing and run out of the house naked proclaiming "Jaques de Molay, thou art avenged."
my bag lawn chair marshmallows stick ohh how i would enjoy watching it burn, i wouldnt even call the cops, thats the neighbors business, i dont even live there anymore, seeing as there is in flames
the only thing i would grab are the car keys to my v w van and hope my kid made it out or i could grab him to
the family/ friends in the house (duh) camera bag with ID/ checks cash/ ATM card car keys (won't need house keys) some clothing and a toothbrush (I still have to work) Paint bag and canvases. the camera bag and canvases are my work, and I have the day job as well. Luckily most of my photos are backed up outside the home (work, friends have copies, etc)
pull plugz frum wall socketz, shove wirez into closet, turn off fanz, slide closet door shut, and go sit in the living room, an act like the fire that started teh smoke alarms wuz in that room.
To telly uo the honest truth. I do not no exacly What I would grab off the top of my head. If thare ever where to be a Fire I would probly no what to take when It happens. Lets not Hope for these things they are just Terible. Glower
1. My daughter. 2. Picture albums. 3. I'd open my gate and let the dogs out of the backyard. 4. Car keys. 5. Diaper bag.
1. My cat and dog 2. My bag with all my personal stuff (license, atm cards, etc.) 3. my laptop 4. a bag full of personal important items (pictures, stuff i saved from when i was little) 5. some clothes and toothbrush.
at first, i saw grandfather CLOCK, i thought that was a lil extravagant....u know wats really nice, since were all reasonable hippies here, nobody has said tv
I love the "toothbrush" responses Dental Hygine is a top 5 priority! Makes sense though... going to the dentist in the U.S. costs insane amounts of money... I am suprised people here even have teeth!
Im not sure what I'd grab, once I made sure everybody and my dog was out of the house. Im pretty well insured, hell, I'd maybe stoke up the fire with my out of date computer and cheap guitars. This way I could maybe say they were martin/gibson guitars and get more money back, and a new computer! The only thing I'd grab would be photos, and things that couldnt be replaced. Disclaimer: I have no intention of commiting insurance fraud.
The only reason I would grab my computer is because I have tons of good music on it. Pictures too. And now that I think of it....... I'd leave my electric, I need a new one anyway. But I wouldn't go without my acoustic, my dad has had that thing since before I was born. He gave it to me when I was 14, I think.
