I went to see Moe last night at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, and I had a pipe with me. I took a few hits during the evening when what to my wondering eyes did appear; the damn gistapo police security team to throw me out on my ear. Radio City is not Hippie friendly. Otherwise I had a great time in the city for New Years Eve. I don't like it, and I am not going to take it anymore. Happy New Year.
it always depends on the place. i saw yonder at the state theater in Minneapolis and the crazy ushers and security people were still trying to get people to stay in their assigned seats (what´s on the ticket) during the encore. if they´re that hard-core about seating, just imagine how crazy they are about busting you. that night, my girlfriend got kicked out of the show for throwing a beer can at the band(she was really drunk, doesnt know why she did it). apparently, that was the band´s decision, not necessarily the security people. the next night, i saw them at the orpheum in madison, WI. my whole family went to the show, too. at the very beginning when the whole crowd seems to start to simutaneously smoke, my dad leans over to me and says, "someone´s doin´ a doobie." haha, indeed they were. the security that night was super-chill compared to the night before. if they caught you, all they´d do is empty out your bowl, give it back to you and say, "dont do it again." i saw the same people get busted like this 3 or 4 times throughout the evening.
I was at the hamton beach casino ballroom in NH at a moe. show and i was smoking a bowl and this dude comes up from behind grabs my shoulder and tried to grab my pipe from me. So i shuved my pipe in my pocket and then the fucker shuved his hand in my pocket! At that point i just pushed him away and ran out the door. My other friend got kicked out too so we just chilled on the beach and smoked... why cant people be cool!?!
