Consensu reached world gathering Thailand

i would loooooooooooooooove to go to a gathering in thailand
but don't know anyone with a pirate ship or flying saucer or hot air baloon or even a giant kite
but if anyone has a row boat or canoe and wants to see if we can make it, i'm game

 

i got the canoe, we'll have to work on getting it out to the west coast, and im sure we could pick up some oars along the way

 

whens the thailand gathering?
maybe we could somehow sew a buncha tipi's together and make a homemade blimp?
canoe will take 4ever..lol
cant cary enough gear, few riders and a couple of dogs in a canoe

 

i fell in trying tp catch a fish...truly is no good, maybe ile start a post about alternative means of hippy travel...i suppose if we make a blimp, using fossil fuels for power is out of the question, we could bring some doses along and try and lift it thataways...perhaps we should try and thumb on the runway of the nearest airport... but i digress, i heard the gathering was supposed to b in december

 

damn that doesnt leave alotta time to invent anything too fancy
someones gotta know someone with a cargo plane ir a tugboat or an old sailing ship we could load a few hundred people on and just go...ya know if we come up with the right idea someone will come along with just the thing we need to make it happen

 

we just need that right idea, that idea that will make all the dishes in my sink fall down and music start spontaneously playing....well, i know a guy with a sail boat, wen i last heard it was underwater though, but that was in june

 

we must know someone with a solar powered amphibios schoolbus
it sux always missin the world and international gatherings

 

Booked our tix yesterday. Yeehaw! We'll arrive in Bangkok xmas day. Can't wait to meet ya Damian. OOOOOOH I'm so very excited!!!!!!!

Maybe we should meet and go the gathering together? I gotta get a bunch of supplies....like choclate and popcorn spices. I'm a lil worried about culture shock and all that...neway I hear Chiang Mai is nice lots of markets and such. Look forward to meeting you. We'll prolly be staying somewhere on the backpackers strip there in Bangkok....can't remember what its called just now. Love n' light

 

I'm here in Bangkok...whoa....its crazy and wonderful and polluted and beasutiful. Lovin it but I can't wait to leave. We're hoppin an overnight bus Ranong tomorro night and so I should be there real soon. I'll prolly be hangin with the popcorners or choppin veggies in the kitchen or somethin...I wonder how big its gonna be??? OOOhh I'm so stoked!

 

bahh... I didn't quite make it to Bangkok yet... Chiang Mai is sweet... I'll prolly be takin' the bus in a few hours... long ride to ko san road but been spending too much as it is and don' want to afford the plane..

Uuuuh just got off the bus from Bangkok. Uuuuh A supposedly ten hour ride to Ranong was more like 20. Uhh I've been spending too much as it is, too. We're headed to Phi phi after this and then Cambodia, Loas and Vietnam. It'll be cheaper there, and possibly more depressing too. Oh well. This time tomorro I'll be there yay. Yay!!!

I dreamed to be there ,but unfortunately has lost my passport . when i will get new one will go to India likely many Rainbow brothers and sisters after the world gathering will go India too ?

will be nice to see old friends from the world gathering in Turkey!!!!

Yeah I've heard quite a few say they will go to India. Damian is going to India. You look familiar were you in Quebec?

 

I'm from Siberia but Last on a road so maybe you saw me on some gatherings in Europe...!?!

 

Did you make it home safely Crystal? Or still in Thailand??? I didn't make it to India. MAYBE before heading back to the states, but at this point I'm back in Chiang Mai heading to Laos within the next couple weeks. Possibly spend a few days in Chiang Rai or Chiang Khong before Laos.

Vadim- That sucks you lost your passport. You end up making it to India?

 

Damian- everything is ok. I flying there on 24 and will stay there more then 1 year then i will try to go from India overland to China for next world gathering and Mongolia-Altai caravan .

So they decided on China for the next world gathering? I listened in on one of the vision councels, but they hadn't yet decided. Interesting they chose Asia again, but it is what it is.

India for a year huh? Have you been there before? I'm still on the fence about going. You have specific plans yet?
