I have heard that dietary cholesterol doesn't have much effect on raising your bad LDL cholesterol and its too much Saturated fat in the diet that is to blame.

The thing is fatty fish and alot of seafood are low saturated fat but some contain alot of cholesterol.

It doesn't specify what kind of cholesterol but Id assume they mean the good cholesterol since it is a fatty fish. Salmon, Tuna, and Mackeral contain alot of Omega 3- fatty acids but other seafoods don't.

Id assume eating alot of Salmon is alot healthier than eating greasy hamburgers.

Salmon is definitely better than greasy burgers because it'll still be much lower in fat. However, it's still good to watch cholesterol levels. Anything with a lot of cholesterol in it you'd want to limit. After all, eggs would be amazing for you were it not for the cholesterol--the amount of fat in them is pretty low.

So yeah, go ahead and better to do fish than greasy processed meats, but watch cholesterol as a whole. If a fish is high in cholesterol, it'll be "bad" as far as your diet goes. The omega-3 fatty acids are good though. So it's all a balancing act!

eating cholesterol doesn't cause cholesterol problems any more than eating brains would make you smarter. Beware hydrogenated oils not found in nature. Fish is very very good for you.

I know a guy who used to be an alcoholic and he said he ate alot of eggs in his diet. Then ive heard eggs arn't as bad as what people thought. Same goes for butter. Butter isn't as bad as margarine which is a hydrogenated oil product.

The USA obviously doesn't care about its people they just want money. Theyd like everyone to get cancer or heart disease cause it makes the doctors money.

Denmark or Belgium? I don't remember but one european country has already banned the use of trans-fats in their foods. Id like to see the USA do that but its not gonna happen.

Germany is also a much better country that pathetic USA. Germany prescribes herbal medicines as much as synthetics but our wonderful USA won't do it cause it don't make the pharmaceutical companies or doctors much money.

Geez if it comes from the earth must not be good? Humm.... I think its alot safer than some stupid chemical made from a chemist. Plants ive heard are alot better at manufacturing useful chemicals than some idiot in a white vest.

it has omega 3 fatty acids...but seafood is not good for you. its full of mercury and pollutants and they are the bottom feeders of the ocean. they are not meant for consumption
