Before Bics...

Long before lighters were designed or produced, pipes have been in use.

I was wondering what the fuck they did before they invented Zippo's or whatever else? Maybe the knowledge could help us next time we're stranded sober with only a pipe and dope.

 

matches were use for centuries.

 

Yeah, I tried matches once, but it seemed to really fuck up my throat for a long time. I wouldn't recommend it.

One thing you can do that is probably the best and most healthy way to smoke, is on a sunny day, take a magnifying glass and magnify the light of the sun on your weed, and smoke it as you do so. It's like you are always getting greens, and it conserves so much.

people didnt often smoke cannabis out of pipes until a while after lighters were invented....and you definitely arent meant to inhale pipe tobacco. in fact matches are the ideal method of lighting a briar, as with cigars....and i can certainly vouch for this.

originally joints and such were the ideal method of smoking pot, and lighters wont work any better for this than matches. seeing as lighters were around at least since the beginning of the 20th century, and joints were the primary mode of consumption even past the first half of that century its really not an issue to not have lighters for pipes...

Hah, I bet they just found the bush one day and decided to throw it in their fire, and then found out they get high from the fumes .

god bless the first person to ever think of smoking the cannabis plant lol, they all jus walk up to this plant and put it in w/e they used and bam, theyr like wow this is some good shit .

 

i love using matches to take hits.

word of advice, though: don't hit the bowl until the flame has moved from the match head to the stem. there's no sense in puffing sulfur. if you use a match properly, it should be a cleaner flame than a lighter.

exactly. its gotta burn through it. same when you light a cigar or hell even a cigarette. I always cringe when I watch some one light anything with a match before it passes the head

 

When I light a cigarette with a match, I puff in the hit that has the match head smoke in it then I blow it out and just inhale regularly.

 

I believe weed was brewed and drank way before it was ever smoked.. but I could be wrong
