I remember a few years back when I first found the forums... I came here finding lots of cool people to talk to granted at the point in time I was in the process of dropping out of school because of all the BS that goes on in this town.. but I found people here that had a similar state of mind didnt give a hoot about anything but living their life to the fullest.. werent materialistic ass hats that said HEY dude your not on the varsity cheerleading squad.. you suck ass....

it was open everybody was fun and I vaguely remember being welcomed warmly here everybody was all kind hearted and in a sense I think alot of people grew together granted I didnt stay in the loop like most do I floated here and there...

but I remember conversations about ramen noodles.. I vaguely remember a Ramen Island thread? or something similar... and music.. the countless threads in here about music...

anyways Young Hippies no matter WHAT the thread title.. was a forum where I could come and I knew that someone out there had similar stuff going through their head it wasnt all just me.. that granted we might not all be talking all that proper englaish crappola... but still what we said and continue to say to each other still makes sense to each and every person who frequents the YH forum... and if your a newbie.. for the most part I do feel that your welcomed here to the forums warm heartedly.. unless your a smartass.. but still those who TRULY have the hipness at heart stick around... and I do know for a fact that my addiction to the forums spread to some of my friends here in this town ...

but lately Im feeling kind of CENSORED.. isnt that something that Ive always felt that some of the older people here have always made a point about saying "dont censor yourself" dont censor your dreams.. dont censor your words.. freedom of speech.. speak out.. etc etc... and here we are being told to censor our thread titles? atleast thats the point that Im getting and well to be 100% honest that disheartens me...

I know Im going to make myself sound like a total lamer.. but dude this place has helped me grow soo much and helped me become more comfortable with who I am for some reason bsing with people here and almost every ounce of advice I have gotten from "elders" here I have taken to heart.. and it has helped me to come out of my shell and not be such a shy little shit... I know that its ok to be me and have a good time etc etc.....

but now everything that Ive grown to love about being a forum junkie is changing? And Im suppost to watch how I word my titles? because someone might miss it? Maybe the people that miss it really werent looking for something like this in the first place? I know I read alot of random threads it depends on what kind of mood Im in.. but why should it be about the hits? Granted I understand that alot of threads means using bandwidth or something like that? but it cant be THAT bad...

but anyways... this was a wee bit of rant and Id just like to know how others feel... like do you get what Im saying or am I just a complete babbling weirdo?

I do not want to take the jam out of your donaught, but it is Skipparu's forum, and no complaints from anyone have ever stopped him in the past.

Hell, the Random Thoughts forum was even closed for a couple of days, half of us had a heart attack.
